Craig Royston Museum

Built in 1860 by James MacGregor, an entrepreneurial Scot, the historic shop on the farm is still open and exhibits a collection of old journals and photographs. The Craig Royston Outpost is the town’s original outpost, dating back to 1860. This outpost historic buildings from the first settlement is now a museum and also has wine sales, a farm shop and offers light meals and overlooking the Olifants River Valley. Head back inland to Citrusdal. The Sandveldhuisie, Uitspan Coffee Shop ad Citrusdal Nursery delight patrons with light meals while at Craig Royston. You could visit a few wineries here but the Craig Royston Winery is your best bet.
