George’s oldest restaurant is housed in the old town meeting hall, which dates back to 1848. The grill menu is a great place to start (go for the roquefort pork chops), while the home-made desserts are an even better place to end.

Hours: 12.30-3.00pm Mon-Fri; 6.00pm-late Mon-Sat.

Main courses R80.
