Abbey Rose

This sweet broekie -laced eatery is a darling amongst locals and the place to head if you’re looking for a square meal. The eisbein, lamb curry and slow-cooked oxtail stew are legendary, as are the wood-fired pizzas. The place is absolutely packed on Sundays, first with a motley crew of tough guys during the Biker’s Breakfast, and then with fans of the old-fashioned carvery lunch.

Hours: 11am-3pm Wed-Sun; 6.30-10pm Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat.

Main courses R80.
