A stalwart amongst Stellenbosch’s post-grad students, De Akker is one of the oldest watering holes in town. Sure, it may be a little bit rough around the edges, but it’s still one of the best spots to enjoy a few after-work beers. Fans of live local music can cut a rug at the upstairs Hidden Cellar.

Open 10.30-2am Mon-Sat.

Main courses R45.
