With its wide weathered red stoep, this friendly farmhouse oozes boere-charm, and serves up lip-licking traditional fare with a huge helping of humour. Think frikkadelbroodjies (burgers), boerekaviaar (bone marrow) on freshly baked bread, Vaalies (boerewors, tomato sauce and pap) and even bokkos (salad).

Open 8am-5pm Tue, Sat, Sun; 8am-10pm Thur, Fri.

Main courses R70.
