As whimsical as Tertia du Toit’s paintings, which are sprinkled across the venue, this quirky café is kitted out in a miscellany of restored, multicoloured antique furniture and crystal chandeliers. As the signboard outside exclaims, there’s ‘not only breakfast’ on the menu, although these guys are known for theirs, dished up day-long. There’s a host of healthy options, but be indulgent and opt for the moreish wors spear served with your choice of gravy or chakalaka, and mash or pap; or the flapjack-style pancakes topped with apple, cinnamon and maple syrup.

Open 7.30am-6.30pm Mon-Fri; 7.30am-3pm Sat.

Main courses R50.
