The Authority has a vast bouquet of products and services, which includes:
- International and domestic marketing of destination Gauteng
- Information provision through our strategically located Visitor Information Centres (VICs)
- Registration and facilitation of tourists guide training
- Provision of strategic research and information to the tourism trade
- Facilitation of SMME and general tourism business development, etc.
Target markets:
The Authority aligns its international marketing to the strategies of our National Tourism Organisation (NTO) SA Tourism by targeting specific overseas and African markets for the purposes of leisure and business tourism and other niche markets such as health/medical and sports tourists. In terms of domestic markets, the Authority targets all provinces as domestic source markets.
