My name is Anneke la Grange. I was born in Bloemfontein, Matriculated at Witteberg High School in Bethlehem and then went to Potchefstroom for my studies. I began my studies in Somatology in 2004 and finished it at the end of 2005 where I also obtained my CIDESCO International Diploma. My course included the subject of Make-Up and it was there that my love and interest in make-up started. Since then, nobody could stop me from living out this passion of mine.
I'm a very friendly person and I totally love working with people. Since my younger days I was very interested in the whole beauty industry, especially Make-up for Weddings and that is exactly where I find myself today. I have done several brides' and bridesmaids’ Make-up and I plan to do much more in the future.
I am currently based in Centurion. I’m a traveling makeup artist in the Gauteng region covering areas such as Centurion, Pretoria, Midrand, Kempton Park, Alberton, Sandton, Johannesburg, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp, Hartbeespoort dam, etc. You're engaged... Everything is organized except your Make-up for your Wedding Day - it's a BIG decision! If it's done wrong, you'll end up with wedding photos you wish you rather did not have.
Why then is it so important that you make use of Makeup artists? As most brides are already stressed on their Wedding Day, I am there to take some of that stress and to turn the bride into the most beautiful person that she could ever be. Nothing can top a bride that is perfectly dressed with her hair done and her make-up looking stunning... If you want to look beautiful, then specialized makeup artists are the best way to go.
Every bride’s make-up is done in such a way that it suits/compliments her personality, specific needs, colour scheme and the time of day that the wedding will take place. An important fact that I, as a make-up artist, also take into consideration, is the kind of photography the bride will be using on that day. Of course you want to look beautiful but where do you start? Should I ask a friend, do it myself, or make use of professional makeup artists?
