As a leading provider of Education and Training in mainly the FET band, the College of Cape Town has much to offer prospective students. Our courses lead to recognised qualifications that are demanded by commerce and industry.
The College strives to provide high-quality education and training to help you equip yourself with the qualifications and skills you need to start out on a chosen career path.
FET programmes are essential for the improvement of the skills base of the South African economy. The College’s FET programmes will equip you for a successful and rewarding career in an industry that has a great need for your practical skills, experience and knowledge and it will also provide you with access to higher education and lifelong learning.
The College offers various FET programmes in: Engineering, Business and General. Grade 12 subjects are offered on a part time basis. We have also expanded our reach by developing in partnership with the Western Cape Education Department the National Certificate (Vocational) giving Grade 9 learners a vocational alternative to an academic Grade 10-12 by offering industry focused training on the NQF levels 2-4.
These vocational programmes are intended to directly respond to the priority skills demand of the modern economy. The College of Cape Town is therefore committed to serving and educating learners from all communities, by offering its learners a holistic learning experience in the vocational discipline of their choice.
