The South African Reward Association was established in 1997 when a number of Gauteng based remuneration professionals, who had been meeting informally as a remuneration forum, recognised the need to formalise their group and set up a professional body.
SARA has since evolved into an association with over 220 corporate members and a membership listing of over 1800 individuals. This rapid growth in membership has resulted in regional branches being established in both KwaZulu Natal and Cape Town.
