Cape Town Lion Park

No, the blue-eyed white lions strutting around this enclosed park aren’t albino; they actually have a recessive gene that makes them a little lighter. Just think of them as the blondes of the lion kingdom. Since these guys are very scarce in the wild, it’s a real treat to catch them in action up close: from the gambolling cubs and mischievous teens to the majestically maned males basking in the sun. You can stroll around on your own steam, but the educational guided tour is recommended.

Open 10am-4pm.

Admission R65 adults; R45 children. Guided tours R130 adults; R90 children.
