Solar energy is the light and radiant heat from the Sun that influences Earth's climate and weather and sustains life. Solar Energy technology comes in the form of either solar thermal or photovoltaic and is one of the best forms of Renewable Energy available.
Wind energy is converted into a useful form, such as electricity, using wind turbines. Individual turbines can provide electricity to isolated locations, while wind farms can feed the grid with power. Wind energy is plentiful, renewable, widely distributed and clean.
Running water has been used as a source of energy for thousands of years. Water is diverted from a stream into a pipeline, the pressurized water emerging from the end of the pipe creates the force that that drives the turbine.; More flow, or more head, produces more power.
Inverters convert direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). The resulting AC can be at any required voltage and frequency. Regulators charge the batteries and to protect them from deep discharging. Batteries are used to store energy, usually as backup power.
