The Mpumalanga Regional Training Trust (MRTT) is a registered Section 21 Company (Association not for gain) in terms of the Companies Act, 1973 (Act no. 66 of 1973). The company was established in 1993 with the aim of providing skills training for the jobless, skilled and semi-skilled workers of local communities and industry in the Mpumalanga province.
A commitment to quality training, growth and the setting and maintaining of the highest standards has enabled MRTT to become a specialised training institution that equips individuals with skills across a wide range of fields.
MRTT provides a wide range of skills at it's four training centres throughout the Mpumalanga province. This entails construction skills that are accredited by CETA, and manufacturing, engineering and related services skills that are accredited by MERSETA.
MRTT has established a state of the art hospitality and tourism academy in Kanyamazane just outside Nelspruit and presents hospitality and tourism courses accredited by THETA. The tourism and hospitality academy also functions as a commercial hotel with accommodation, conference and restaurant facilities.
