Set in the sunken, oak-dappled courtyard of the Oude Libertas, this slow-food market has become quite the Saturday-morning social institution amongst Stellenbosch’s foodie community. The myriad stalls have the continents covered, proffering everything from schwarmas and tacos to spanakopita and apfelstrudel. Add to that a soothing soundtrack of world music and a few glasses of artisan beer, and you’ve got yourself a party.
