This stunningly authentic farmhouse eatery is situated in the manor house of the historic Steenbokfontein farm outside Lambert’s Bay, a stone’s throw from the Atlantic Ocean. Local legend Kitta Burger serves real boerekos in hearty portions, such as potato sourdough bread, boontjiebredie (bean stew) and soetpatat (regional sweet potatoes), prepared the old-fashioned way on a traditional wood-fired oven.
