Ozone Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd (O3bc) was formed in the last quarter of 2003 out of the restructuring of Chemical Marketing & Consulting Services (CMCS), a specialised marketing consulting and business strategy company operating in Southern Africa. O3bcs service provides the chemical and allied industries with independent and objective industrial marketing research and strategy formulation.
Although the company's focus is Southern Africa, it is associated with overseas research organisations such as Kline and Stanford Research Institute (SRI), which enables it to provide clients with a world-wide information service as well.
CMCS was founded in 1986 by Henry Laing, who has now assumed the position of chairman at O3bc. The restructuring of CMCS involved the appointment of Sam Matlala as Managing Director and Rhoanda van Zyl as Executive Director.
This has ensured the continuity of skills and quality of workmanship, as well as the culture of service excellence in market research consulting and business strategy formulation, which has been CMCS' hallmark over the last two decades.
