Take the N3 Off-ramp to Ashburton. You will come to an Intersection. Turn left (Ashburton West) continue straight until you reach another intersection. This is the Old Main Road. The Butcher will be on your left and Spar will be diagonally opposite to your right. Continue straight over this intersection into Wally Hayward Drive (The Spar will now be on your right hand side) go straight on for approximately 350m and then turn right into Sunset.

A Garden Walk:

  • The Labyrinth in Ashburton is based on the Chartres Labyrinth design.
  • It comprises of 11 concentric circles and is 28garden walk, circle of life metres in diameter.
  • The centre alone is 7 metres in diameter and has 6 semi circles which make a flower shape.
  • The Labyrinth has only one path that takes you into the centre and then you walk the same path back out again.
  • The total distance of the walk is 1056 metres making it just over a kilometre.
  • The Labyrinth is based on sacred geometry, is full of symbolism and is regarded as sacred space.
  • The Labyrinth is also suitable for group walks including school groups.

Tea & Coffee Venue:

We welcome you to Shambhala, our tea and coffee bar situated on a thatched sundeckwith a beautiful view. There are certain items on display that can be purchased or ordered.

Accommodation is limited so booking with regards to catering, seating & parking is essential. The premises may also be hired out, so please enquire if you are interested in this regard. Accommodation is also available for overnight stays.
