The Old Grey Unio

The Old Grey Union was formed back in 1893. And, although there was a brief sojourn of activities during the First World War years 1912 to 1921, it has been actively working at achieving certain objectives ever since.
To bring past scholars of the Grey High School; and Grey Junior School, together, to keep them in touch with the Schools and the present scholars, and generally to encourage social intercourse among them.
To promote the interest and welfare of the Schools and the Union. To improve any freehold or lease hold property of the Union by the erection of or improvements to buildings and by the provisions of playing fields and other facilities.
To invest, lend and or borrow money and to secure the repayment thereof in such manner and upon such terms and conditions in all respects as may seem expedient.
To accord to the Old Grey Club, the right to use the Union's land and building at Freeplay Park, formally known as Kemsley Park, on such terms and conditions as the Union may determine from time to time, provided always that it shall be made available to the Club at all times, free of charge.
