Iziko South African Museum

The Iziko South African Museum holds a certain old-school charm that its more technologically advanced counterparts don't. The array of stuffed animals is vast - from a duck-billed platypus to extinct killer sharks. Dinosaur enthusiasts will enjoy the African Dinosaurs exhibition featuring fossils dating back 250 million years.

Hours: 10am-5pm daily.

Admission: R15 adults; R5 SA pensioners, students; freeunder-16s, public holidays and commemorative days.
