Old Harbour Museum

The old harbour was proclaimed a museum in 1972, and the neglected ramparts repaired. Even old fishing boats were collected for outdoor display. On the slope where many old fishing shacks once stood there is now an indoor museum which offers insights into the history of fishing and whaling in the area.

Hours: 9am-4.30pm Mon-Sat; noon-4pm Sun.

Admission: R15 adults; R5 children.

No: Credit Cards are accepted.
