Recently reopened after a stint of renovation, this Georgian townhouse located inside Hiddingh Campus is decorated in the style of a gracious 1830s English home, with furniture and art bequeathed by Winifred Ann Lidderdale. The house is named after the wife of architect John Barker, Ann Bertram Findlay, and was completed in 1839.
Bertram house is the only remaining example of the English Georgian-style red brick houses that were once common in Cape Town.
