Amatole Telecommunication Services is a licensed (mobile and fixed) voice and data operator in the Amathole region of the Eastern Cape. Icasa granted Amatole a regional telecoms licence in 2005 under the Telecommunications Act. The licence is valid for 25 years. Tellumat is Amatole’s technical partner. It has selected Telsima WiMax as the most appropriate and cost-effective solution for the provision of services to our customers, who are a mix of rural and urban home and business users.
