Caledon Museum is artefact filled Victorian house

A Victorian house with artifacts and displays from Caledon's past. Caledon Museum houses historical exhibits covering the years 1840 to 1900. The heritage of the Caledon community is reflected in this artefact-filled Victorian house. Caledon Museum Shop stocks local products: arts, crafts, dry flowers and home-baked goods.

The Masonic Lodge building houses artefacts and a pictorial history of the coloured community before the Group Areas Act of the 1950's. The Victorian House depicts the late Victorian era and paintings by renowned artist Peter Clark. The agricultural exhibit houses old agricultural implements. Nearby, a former Masonic lodge tells the story of early Khoi pastoralists.
